The gross floor area is 83 000 square metres. The structural system is based on precast concrete double-t beams for the roof slabs and precast concrete of the facial elements of the fa×—ade. This group of buildings is composed of 21 wings and 74 floors each with an area of 700 square meters. All these buildings are connected by connector buildings and 18 complexes that house all infrastructure and service facilities of stairs, lifts, bathrooms, warehouses, electrical and mechanical rooms, and water reservoirs. Seven court buildings are annexed to these buildings and are used as libraries and laboratories for the different schools of medical sciences. The landscaping works of the site are made up of courts, fountains, pools, flower beds, planted areas, car parks, and paths. The planted area is provided with a full irrigation system and a lighting network that lights all of the courts and external works. |
