Al-Hani’s Electrical Division has developed a reputation for quality of execution and attention to detail. The Electrical Division offers its clients highly competent engineering expertise with a demonstrated track record in handling system design, supervision and execution of the electrical works required by Al-Hani’s own projects as well as by the projects of other contractors.

The Electrical Division specialises in large-scale, sensitive projects with security system networks. It has been involved in a wide range of projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, including power houses, recreational cities, external landscape lighting, street and high mast lighting and communications, as well as state-of-the-art electronics and security system networks for a variety of building types including hotels, banks, conference halls, airports, stock exchanges, hospitals and universities.

The Electrical Division is made up of a group of highly talented individuals whose combined skills and broad experience in the field ensure the highest standard of work.

1. SECURITY SYSTEMS:
   Our work has included the supply and installation of dual computer systems, alarm actuation, closed circuit television, intercommunication and patrol tour verification, card access-controlled doors, staff location information systems, large screen visual displays, event commands for security, fire actions and metal detection, baggage screening, optical disc players and recording systems.
2. ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS:
   Our work has included the supply and installation of power distribution and lighting equipment, stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems and conventional electrical packages in basic projects such as high tension and low tension switchgears, unit distribution stations, motor control centres, distribution and consumer boards, ventilated cable trays and bus ducts, under-floor trucking, high and low tension cables, indoor and outdoor lighting, stage lighting, specialist crystal glass and brass chandeliers, special effects lighting, power and lighting control systems.
3. NAVIGATIONAL, AIR TRAFFIC CONTOL & VISUAL AIDS:
   • Air Traffic Control Systems:
     Work has included air traffic control systems, VHF receivers and transmitters, portable VHF transceivers, antennae, light guns, CCTV systems etc...

   • Meteorological Services:
     Work has included runway visual range systems, cloud height indicators, pressure sensor systems, and wind velocity and direction indicator systems;
   • Visual Aids for Navigation System:
     Work has included approach lights, PAPI lights, runway centre line lights, touch down zone lights, taxiway lights, guidance sign boards, constant current regulators, wind cones, seating pots, computerised multiplex control transmission systems;
   • Navigational Aids:
     Work has included the supply and installation of instrument landing systems CAT II (ILS CAT II), VHF localizers, UHF glide slopes, UHF DME and remote indication and control desks for runways at Kuwait international Airport.
4. AUDIO-VISUAL, CONGRESS AND BROADCASTING TV STUDIO:
   • Audio-Visual, Congress System & Projection Equipment:
     Work has included a state-of-the-art computer-based central processor, CCTV control console and associated equipment, video monitors, SI programme selector, CCTV switch matrix interfaces, voice loggers, wireless transmitters, delegate units, chairman units, wireless programme selectors for eight channels, multi-channel translator units for seven languages, voting boards, master control rooms, broadcasting quality colour TV cameras with remote pan and tilt mounts, zoom focus lenses, synchronised generator with video multiplexer, motion slide and video projectors, large screen colour TV projectors with lens and xenon lamp, PAL decoders and colour bar generator.
   • Television Studios
     Installed systems have included broadcasting quality TV cameras complete with zoom lens, pan and tilt, lighting projectors, encoders, monitoring facility for PAL, SECAM and NTSC video cassette recorders, waveform monitors, vector scope and sound monitors, broadcasting quality audio mixers, vision mixers, trans-coder for PAL/SECAM/NTSC/ frame synchronizer, character generators, video and audio patch panels, multi-track audio tape recorder, synchronizing pulse generators with automatic changers, dimmer bank control for lighting and the necessary furniture. In 2008, the company is also purchasing and installing state of the art HD broadcast systems in a TV Studio project for the Kuwait Ministry of Information.
   • Theatrical lighting, Control & Distribution Equipment:
     Work has included supply and installation of dimmer banks, dimmers, lighting control consoles, stage control panels, platform connector strips, ceiling terminal boxes, floor, flush and surface pockets, footlights, distribution and magazine panels and theatrical lighting fixtures.
5. MAINTENANCE & OPERATION:
   As well as undertaking the maintenance of the projects that we execute ourselves, we have also carried out the management, operation and maintenance of other pre-existing projects. This has included, for example, the Ministries Complex in Kuwait and the Sewage Treatment Plant at Ardiya
6. POWER STATIONS:
   Work has included the design, supply and installation of high tension and low tension diesel generator units, high and low tension switchgear, high tension transformers, control rooms, overhead cranes, fuel storage tanks, mechanical works, ventilation systems and UPS systems.
7. COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS:
   Work has included supply and installation of telephone exchanges, intercom and guard tour systems, sound, music and public address systems, paging systems, CCTV and MATV systems, market information systems, fire alarm and burglar alarm systems, clock systems, room status systems, wake-up alarm systems, nurse call systems, court recording systems and simultaneous interpretation systems.
8. CONTROL & MONITORING:
   Work has included the design, supply and installation of computerised central control and monitoring systems which comprises data transmission systems, data gathering panels, sensors and flow meters, local control systems for sewage disposal, fire protection, ventilation, air conditioning systems, irrigation systems and display fountains, supervisory control and back mosaic mimic control panels, control desks, selector switches and control cables.
