Over the years, Al-Hani has realized highly prestigious public projects such as Kuwait International Airport, the Kuwait Ministry of Information Complex, Kuwait University Computer Centre and Seef Palace (electrical works) among many others. Clients have included the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Housing. In the private sector, Al-Hani has also delivered commercial projects such as the vast Safat Al-Ghanim mall and the Nissan Showroom. Al-Hani is privately owned. Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan, the company’s founder, and members of his family, are its principal shareholders with a minority share held by a number of the descendants of the late Hajj Khaled Youssef Al-Muttawa, the company’s other founder. Abdel-Mohsin Al-Qattan is Chairman and Managing Director. Omar Al-Qattan is Deputy Managing Director. Major current projects include the Kuwait National Library (contract value 13m KD or $47m, due for delivery in Autumn 2008) and a new five-star, fast-track, design-and-build conference hall in Bayan Palace (contract value 28.5m KD or $100m) due for delivery in 2010.
